October Impact
Paw-tner Spotlight: Rooster Beverages
This month, we’re raising a glass to one of our Community Partners: Rooster Beers.
At Rooster, “community isn’t just a buzzword - it’s how they brew.” From supporting charities like Laws for Paws to offering rent-free space to local food vendors, their impact goes beyond the pint.
Now, they’re helping us share stories like Frank’s - our social pup who recently starred in a Dog Date with Rooster Beers.
Even better, show this post at any Rooster location and 15% of your bill goes to Laws for Paws Vietnam. Every pint gets us one paw closer to change.

Cheers to change - and paws for good. 🍻🐶
Education in Action
We were thrilled to welcome the SSIS Animal Rights Club back to the shelter!
For the past three years, students from the club have been regular visitors, and this year they came across two days to give more students a chance to get involved. From dog walking to cleaning and grooming, they jumped right in to help - and the pups loved every minute.
The SSIS club is part of our Pawsitive Pals program, which helps students start animal welfare clubs at their schools. These clubs support our rescue work through volunteering, fundraising, content creation, and more. If you're a student passionate about helping animals, reach out to learn how your school can get involved!
Driving Change
Q3 Snapshot: Progress in Action
This quarter wasn’t just about progress; it was about action that makes a difference - showing up, speaking out, and creating real momentum for animal welfare.
Here’s a look back at everything we achieved together.
Insight Spotlight
Advocacy: Different Formats, Shared Mission
This month, we took our advocacy beyond the shelter and into new spaces - from busy shopping malls to quiet podcast studios. While each setting looks different, they all serve the same purpose: to share the stories of rescue dogs in Vietnam and push for a kinder, more informed approach to animal welfare.
By diversifying how and where we show up we’re able to connect with people in ways that meet them where they are. Some respond to conversation. Others to story. Others to a moment that sparks something bigger.
Here’s where we’ve been and why it mattered.
Royal Canin’s Pet Weekend 2025 – The ‘Paw’manent Love’
At this D7 community event, our team ran an adoption booth, engaged with visitors, and shared what it means to support rescue work. These face-to-face moments spark personal connections, small but powerful interactions that build long-term support. It’s advocacy on a human scale, one conversation at a time.
Beams Paws Podcast
Our Founding Director joined Beams Paw Podcast to share her journey and the heart behind Laws for Paws Vietnam. Podcasts allow for deeper, more reflective storytelling - connecting with listeners in a personal and often emotional way. It’s a chance to go beyond awareness and build genuine empathy.
InterPetFest 2025 – MallPetFest
At InterPetFest, we paired our adoption booth with on-stage storytelling - sharing powerful rescue journeys with a wide, public audience. Speaking at scale helps shift perceptions quickly and visibly, especially among people unfamiliar with rescue. These moments create momentum, moving awareness into action.
Change doesn’t come from one conversation, one format, or one approach. It comes from the cumulative impact of showing up, consistently, creatively, and with clarity - in spaces that speak to different people in different ways.
At booths, we build connection.
Through podcasts, we share meaning.
On stage, we drive momentum.
Each format serves a purpose. Together, they form a movement.
