Education Programs
Building compassion for animals — one classroom at a time.
Laws for Paws Vietnam offers education programs for schools across Ho Chi Minh City — bringing rescue dogs into classrooms and students into the shelter to build empathy, responsibility, and compassion for the animals around them. Programs are flexible and can be tailored to fit the needs of your school.

Paws for Learning
In-school visitLaws for Paws Vietnam's education program offers early years and kindergarten education for children. With the help of friendly shelter dogs, children learn about compassion and responsibility while developing important skills. This unique program promotes a love for animals and encourages children to become advocates for animal welfare. The shelter dogs make great companions and help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Paw Pals Academy
In-school visit
Our team of trained staff and friendly dogs visit schools to deliver engaging presentations teaching young children about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. We cover dog behaviour, body language, communication, and how to safely approach a dog — as well as the importance of proper nutrition, exercise, and grooming. The program also provides an opportunity for children to interact with our dogs in a safe environment, fostering empathy and compassion.

Paws for a Cause
Shelter visitOur program offers a range of hands-on experiences — from school field trips to community service and Week Without Walls participation. Students learn about animal welfare through activities like dog walking, basic command training, grooming, and socialisation. With the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers, it's an unforgettable educational experience that benefits both students and shelter animals alike.

Weekend Warriors
Volunteer programStudents can attend on either Saturdays or Sundays for one hour each morning. With parent permission, students help with dog walking, grooming, shelter maintenance, basic command training, and socialisation. Our dogs become more confident around young people and learn important skills that better their chances of being adopted. A great way for students to give back while gaining hands-on experience with animals.

Pawsitive Pals Club
School club
By starting an animal welfare club at your school, you can educate your peers about the importance of animal welfare and raise funds to support our mission. Clubs can organise fundraising events, host adoption drives, create social media content, or volunteer at the shelter. We provide resources and guidance to help you get started — together we can make a real difference for dogs in need.
OUR SCHOOL PARTNERS
