Sweety

Sweety’s journey to safety began on a rainy Saturday when she ran into a kindergarten in Thao Dien, completely wet and shaking. The kind-hearted staff knew she couldn’t stay there, so they quickly reached out to us. Without hesitation, we stepped in to bring Sweety into our care, providing her with the comfort she desperately needed.

A visit to our vet revealed that Sweety had given birth to multiple litters and was struggling with a mild skin infection, a hernia on her stomach, and an infestation of fleas. Despite these challenges and showing signs of being an older girl based on her teeth, Sweety remained incredibly friendly and sweet, greeting everyone with an adorable smile.

It didn’t take long for the perfect adopter to come forward for Sweety. Her loving mom, Danielle, was searching for another furry companion to join her family and be a friend for her little dog, Emma. Sweety was the perfect match—not only because of her small size but also because of her kind and gentle nature. At first, Sweety and Emma were a bit unsure of how to navigate this new situation, taking some time to learn how to play nicely together and adjust to their new lives. But Danielle patiently supported both girls through the transition and helped them navigate this change.

Before long, the trio found their rhythm and fit perfectly into each other’s lives and hearts. Just look at their smiling faces, and you’ll see the happiness and love they all share!

A huge thank you to the kindergarten staff for treating Sweety with kindness when she was scared and alone and for reaching out to us for help. And a special thanks to Danielle and Emma for opening your heart and home to Sweety, giving her the forever family she truly deserves.

You can help dogs like Sweety find their forever families by sharing our stories, adopting, volunteering your time, or donating to support our rescue efforts. Together, we make a difference!
