Hope’s story began in heartbreaking circumstances where he was found abandoned outside a compound in D2. Hiding in the bushes with his abandoned with his two siblings- in not so good condition. Yet despite their condition, they were social, playful, and trusting; often coming out to say hello to people passing by. When the rain storm began to get heavier their safety worsened, one of our amazing community members stepped in to get them immediate help. Once at the vet it was quickly discovered that the three were malnourished, bloated with worms, and showed signs of mange and skin infections. After some urgent medical care, nourishing food, and love, all three made a swift recovery. While his two siblings have already found their forever families, Hope is still patiently waiting for his turn.
