Suma

Suma’s story is one of incredible resilience and survival. Born into a world of uncertainty, Suma lost his mother at birth, leaving him and his siblings to face an uphill battle. Severely dehydrated, covered in ticks, and lacking the basic care every puppy needs, Suma’s chances of survival seemed slim. But thanks to the tireless dedication of our team and the incredible work of our vet team, Suma not only survived but thrived.

Suma’s journey to recovery has been nothing short of miraculous. After overcoming the odds, this brave little boy grew into a happy and healthy pup, ready to start a new chapter in life. When a father and daughter duo came to us looking for a dog to complete their family, Suma quickly captured their hearts. This adoption story is even more special because they followed in the footsteps of their daughter and her husband, who had adopted Sophie from Laws For Paws Vietnam two years earlier. It was a beautiful example of why it’s so important to ‘adopt, don’t shop’.

We are thrilled to see how adoption is growing in popularity among local Vietnamese families, with more and more people choosing to adopt rather than shop for their pets. Suma is now thriving in his new home, surrounded by love and care, where he enjoys playful days and snuggles with his new family members. His journey reminds us all of the difference adoption can make – not just in the life of a dog, but in the hearts of the people who adopt them.
