James

In October, after the city had ended the social distancing for a few days.  Natalie Thuong and her friend were driving on CMT8 and saw James running in the middle of the road. They followed him and asked the people around who said they've seen James roam there several times. Poor James was in a bad state with greasy, loose hair and lots of ticks on his body. The people around there helped Natalie and her friend catch James.  Natalie realised that James knew how to stand on a motorbike, so they guessed that he could have previously been someone’s pet and possibly used to ride motorbikes with his previous owner.  Although it was difficult to find out for certain, according to the people in the area, they thought that his old owner may have died of covid so he was left wandering the streets.  James is a senior Maltese Terrier cross who loved to dance with his tappy-feet at the Laws For Paws Vietnam shelter. His special dance moves caught the eye of this wonderful couple who could not resist the charm of sweet James. We are so pleased that after such tough start, James can now enjoy his senior years filled safe and showered with love! A special thank you to Natalie and her friend who saved this sweet boy from a potentially tragic outcome.
