My Rescue Tale
Athena was rescued by a kind-hearted animal lover, Heather (who also rescued the lovely poodle Hela). She was found wandering near a construction site, alone and vulnerable. After asking around with no sign of an owner, Heather brought her home for a health check and later entrusted her into our care.
Rescued as a young pup, Athena has been spared the dangers of the streets from hunger and illness to the heartbreaking risk of the dog meat trade and endless pregnancies. And in return, this little lady has shown herself to be the total package: calm, funny, sweet, and friendly- truly the all-round perfect pup! She loves people, enjoys cuddles, and brings a gentle spark of joy everywhere she goes. Now, she’s been given a second chance at a safe, joyful life, she’s ready to find her forever family. 🌟 Breed: Local mixed breed with the cutest brown patches and little ears

🌟 Age: Born approximately March/April 2025
🌟 Size: She is small and we expect her to be under 10kg when fully grown (perfect for apartment living)
🌟 Health: Vaccinations underway; she will be sterilized when she’s old enough
🌟 Temperament: Very friendly, confident, people-loving, and always ready for cuddles
🌟 Training: Athena is crate trained and sleeps independently. She is doing so well with her toilet training and learning quickly by watching the older dogs at the shelter. When she’s old enough, she’ll need patient and positive guidance with her leash training.
🌟 Compatibility: Athena is great with both dogs and cats, and would suit just about any family, with or without children or other pets. Like all puppies, she will need a family that understands that she is still growing and is willing to commit to her progress and training.
