Ray, Rocket & Chief

When a kind-hearted local rescuer named Mr. Nha came across a heavily pregnant dog with nowhere safe to go, he didn’t hesitate. Already caring for more than 30 large dogs and countless cats, he still found room in his heart and home to help one more. That selfless act would lead to the birth of four beautiful puppies: Chief, Izzy, Rocket, and Ray.

Though Mr. Nha had done everything he could, he knew he needed help. Puppy season had stretched his resources thin, and the pups needed more support than he could give. That’s when he reached out to us, and without a second thought, we welcomed them in. The puppies arrived bright-eyed, curious, and surprisingly healthy—ready to begin their journey toward forever.

From the start, Chief, Rocket, and Ray stood out for their big hearts and even bigger personalities. At just three months old, they were already full of love, energy, and that unmistakable puppy mischief. Whether wrestling together in the play area or cuddling up with volunteers, the three brothers were inseparable, forming a bond that only littermates can understand.

So when a wonderful family came forward, not just to adopt one—but three—of the puppies, we were overjoyed. Chief and Rocket would live permanently in Dalat, while Ray would be based in Saigon with other family members. But the best part? The three brothers would still grow up seeing each other often, sharing their lives, and never losing that special connection.

Their new family prepared with care—puppy-proofing their homes, setting up cozy sleeping spots, and showering the boys with love from day one. These lucky pups now enjoy cool weather strolls in Dalat, city adventures in Saigon, and a life filled with love, laughter, and familiar faces.

We’re so grateful to Mr. Nha for trusting us to help, and to the incredible family who saw the value in keeping these siblings close.

Thanks to your support, stories like this are possible. Please consider adopting, donating, volunteering, or simply sharing to help us continue our mission. Every act of kindness brings another life home.
