Kora

Kora’s journey began on a rainy night in Thảo Điền. A kind-hearted homeless man had been riding around with five tiny puppies on his motorbike, unsure of what to do. One of our amazing supporters spotted him and gently offered help. Thinking the puppies belonged to his dogs, she asked him to return the next morning. Despite the pouring rain, he showed up right on time—with not only the puppies, but also his two adult dogs, who we were able to sterilize. It turned out the puppies weren’t his at all—he had found them abandoned in a cardboard box and took them in to keep them safe.

From the start, Kora was confident, friendly, and full of light. With her little ridge down her back and her sweet, social nature, she quickly became a favorite at the shelter. Like most young puppies, she needed time and patience with training, but she made steady progress every day and always had a wagging tail for anyone who gave her attention.

Then came her special day—when she met the couple who would become her forever family. They live in a shared house, which means Kora will always be surrounded by love, snuggles, and someone to play with. Her new paw-rents immediately fell for her big eyes and soft energy, and she settled in like she had always belonged. Now, she spends her days showered in affection and her weekends attending our events—not to look for a home, but to visit her old friends. And though she gets excited to see her siblings, it’s clear where her heart lies—right beside her family.

We’re endlessly grateful to the caring soul who rescued Kora, to our supporter who followed through, and to the loving couple who gave her the life she deserves.

If you believe every dog deserves a second chance like Kora, please consider adopting, donating, volunteering, or simply sharing her story. Together, we can change more lives.
