Salt
My Rescue Tale
Salt’s life started with uncertainty when he was found abandoned as a 2-month-old puppy in a park in District 7 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021. He was lucky to be adopted shortly after—but sadly, two years later, his adoptive family faced major life changes and could no longer care for him. Now, Salt is once again waiting for a forever family who will love him unconditionally and never give up on him.
Despite everything, Salt remains a sweet, well-behaved companion. He loves his daily walks—ideally two good outings a day—and enjoys relaxing in between. He’s friendly with other dogs, people, and even cats who are used to dogs. He does have some sensitivities: he’s not a fan of thunderstorms (especially from high-rise buildings) and needs a home that can manage his seasonal allergies and special diet. But with the right care, Salt is an easygoing and loving boy who just wants to be close to his humans.
Salt is a beautiful mix of easygoing and adventurous. He’s looking for a home where he’ll be loved, walked regularly, and given the gentle attention he deserves. Could that be you? Message us today to learn more about adopting Salt and give him the forever family he’s been waiting for!

🌟 Size: Medium, approx. 17kg
🌟 Health: Neutered, fully vaccinated, has seasonal allergies (managed well with home-cooked food—no chicken or rice for this guy please!)
🌟 Temperament: Sweet, social, gentle, and affectionate. Calm at home and then you can see his playful side emerge when he is in the park
🌟 Training: House trained and leash trained; loves his walks and behaves beautifully in public
🌟 Compatibility: Good with dogs, friendly with people, and gets along well with cats who are used to dogs. Would do best in a low-rise home near a park due to fear of thunderstorms
