Pham's story started the way too many do. A tiny puppy, far too young to be on his own, found in rough shape and covered in ticks. The kind-hearted people who discovered him couldn’t face walking away from him. They scooped him up and brought him straight to us, giving this little boy his first real chance at the life he deserves.

When Pham arrived, we got straight to work. A full vet assessment confirmed tick and dewormer treatment was needed right away, and while he tested negative for blood parasites and worms on arrival, we're keeping a close eye on him. A retest is scheduled in the coming weeks to make sure he's completely in the clear, given how young and small he is. He's also receiving treatment for a mild skin condition (demodex), which is common in young puppies with low immune systems and very manageable with the right care. For now, vaccinations will begin as soon as he's a little stronger.

Despite everything this little pup has been through, Pham has shown us nothing but joy. In the care of one of our team members, he is absolutely thriving. Already sleeping through the night in his own warm bed and making impressive strides with his toilet training. Smart, sweet, and endlessly affectionate, Pham is the kind of puppy who makes you wonder how anyone could have let him go.
