Just before the Tet holidays, little Li Xi was found in heartbreaking conditions by two young European tourists. They had purchased her from a street vendor who had kept her trapped in a filthy cage, covered in her own waste.

While their intentions came from a place of kindness, we always advise against purchasing animals from these vendors — as it often fuels the cycle. Sadly, these sellers tend to replace one sold puppy with another. But for Li Xi, this story has a happier ending.

Named after the red envelopes of lì xì (lucky money) exchanged during Tet, this tiny girl truly symbolizes a fresh start and new beginnings. She was brought into our care and immediately showered with the love, cleaning, and medical attention she so desperately needed.

Li Xi is an all-around sweetheart - easy-going, curious, and already showing signs of becoming a playful, loyal companion. She’s perfect for a home with or without other pets, with children or without.  As long as her humans are ready to support her through the puppy stages.
