My Rescue Tale
Chilli’s story is a reminder that not all small dogs have small needs. She was rescued from a situation where she was confined in a cage and even chained while inside it - a stressful and confusing life for such a smart and sensitive breed.
Sadly, this is something we see too often. Poodles are incredibly intelligent, active, and people-oriented dogs, but without understanding their needs, they are often labeled as “difficult.” In reality, they simply need the right environment to thrive.
Since coming into our care, Chilli has shown us exactly who she is - a bright, affectionate, and energetic little dog who absolutely loves being around people. Now, she’s ready for a home that truly understands her.
