Sometimes the best rescues come through the most unexpected connections. A delivery driver who had once been our shelter manager's xe om driver many years ago turned up one day with a tiny puppy in tow. His neighbour, an elderly couple, had given her to his children while he was out at work. A sweet gesture, but one that put this young family in an impossible position. With three kids at home, a wife running a Com Tam stall on the street, and a full day of deliveries to do, there was simply no way he could keep her. And with the neighbours being elderly, returning her wasn't an option either.

So he did the right thing. He thought of us.

Bouncer arrived as the fluffy, bright-eyed little puppy she is today, and we are so glad she found her way to our door. She has received her first round of vaccines and parasite treatment, and will be sterilized when she is old enough. We are already working on her toilet training, and leash training will begin as she grows. This sweet girl is learning and thriving, and she is ready to find the family who will love her for life.
