Betty
Betty’s story began when she and her siblings were left behind after the owners of a business in District 7 returned to their hometown. When they abandoned the premises, they also left behind an adult male and female dog. Sadly, by the time help arrived for the female dog, she had already given birth and was suffering from parvovirus. Despite efforts to save her, she passed away shortly after, leaving her newborn puppies, including Betty, to fend for themselves.
With kindness in his heart, Mr. Thao, a caretaker of an abandoned school nearby, stepped in to look after the dogs. He took great care of the puppies, ensuring they were vaccinated and sterilized with the help of Rikke, Anh Pham, and Francesca. While Mr. Thao would have kept all the puppies, he received unfortunate news that the school would soon be demolished to make way for new residential towers. His new location did not allow him to care for more than two dogs, leaving Betty and her siblings, Casey and Bonnie, in need of a new home.
That’s where Laws For Paws Vietnam stepped in. We took over the care of Betty, Casey, and Bonnie, determined to find them the loving families they deserved. It wasn’t long before the perfect match for Betty came along.
A lovely couple from District 7 fell in love with her sweet nature and decided to adopt her. Living next to a huge park, they are the perfect family for an energetic dog like Betty. Her new mum, a swim coach, ensures that Betty gets plenty of exercise and adventure, making this an ideal match for such an active and playful dog.
We couldn’t be more thrilled for Betty, who is now living a life full of love, care, and daily walks in the park.
