Banjo’s life began in unthinkable circumstances. Rescued from the threat of the dog meat trade, he is truly a survivor. Thankfully, an overseas supporter of ours stepped in to save him from this fate and reached out to us for urgent help. They had adopted from us before and were returning home to care for their other rescue dogs, but wanted to ensure Banjo wouldn’t be left behind. That’s when we welcomed this sweet boy into our shelter family.

Since joining us, Banjo has proven what a gentle and loving pup he truly is. Despite his traumatic start, he has shown nothing but kindness, slowly opening his heart to those around him. He enjoys peaceful days laying by your feet and taking afternoon naps, always keeping one eye open to make sure you haven’t gone too far. He is truly one of the sweetest souls; quiet, gentle, and grateful for even the smallest act of kindness.
