Abbie and her brothers Rio, Tommy, Bruno, and Son were born on 15 May at another shelter, alongside their mum. When the shelter's sole caretaker faced an unexpected health crisis, we stepped in to bring the most vulnerable dogs into our care. The puppies had some skin issues on arrival due to malnutrition, but with proper nutrition and care they bounced back quickly. All five puppies and their mum tested negative for viruses and blood parasites, and today they are thriving.

Abbie is the smallest of the litter and also, without question, the most spirited. Do not let her size fool you for a second. She is feisty, playful, and utterly social, the kind of puppy who holds her own and then some. She loves being around people and other dogs, and she brings an infectious energy to everything she does.
