Mimi

Mimi was rescued off the streets of D1 during the lockdown. Usually stray dogs living in D1 do ok as there are no dog thieves, the street vendors and restaurants feed them and security guards usually let them sleep nearby to them as well. But with everything closed dogs like Mimi were slowly starving to death 😞. A woman who had a pass to enter D1 once a week saw Mimi getting thinner and thinner each week and managed to get her off the street. She then spent several weeks at the clinic recovering before coming to the shelter in December. After being at the shelter for a few weeks (where Mimi was fearful and shy) she was able to go into a foster home with Noemie. This was the best thing that could happen for Mimi because Noemie was so patient with her. It didn’t take long for Mimi’s confidence to build and her true loving personality emerged.

We are so happy to announce that Mimi has now found her forever family as she’s been adopted by Kate! The two have formed such a wonderful bond and Mimi is also living with her cat siblings who she’s making great progress with. Mimi enjoys her days being a goofball and getting lots of love and cuddles! Thank you to Noemie and Kate for being so patient with this amazing girl and for giving her the life she deserves!
