Caspy and his brother, Suma, had a heartbreaking start to life. Their mother tragically passed away during birth, leaving them struggling for survival. Severely dehydrated and malnourished, they had been fed cow’s milk with sugar, a far cry from the nourishment they needed. Covered in ticks and without proper care, their journey to health seemed uncertain.

Despite this, both Caspy and Suma tested negative for viruses and blood parasites, but they faced another battle: severe worms and dehydration that threatened their survival. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our team and the incredible care provided by our veterinarians, these resilient pups defied the odds. Against all challenges, they made a remarkable recovery, showing the world just how strong they truly are.

As Caspy continued to grow stronger, his story caught the attention of a wonderful Vietnamese family living in the USA. Experienced owners of Phu Quoc Ridgebacks, they knew Caspy was the perfect fit for their family. They patiently waited as Caspy completed his final vaccinations and underwent sterilization to ensure he was ready for his journey across the world.

When the time came, his new family flew to Vietnam to meet their new furry companion and bring him to his forever home in the USA. Now, Caspy enjoys the wide-open spaces and beach visits that every Phu Quoc Ridgeback deserves. We are beyond thrilled to see our handsome boy thriving in a loving home, surrounded by all the space, love, and care he needs.
